Kia Ora, I’m Lesley
I have had the privilege of teaching at The Rabbit Patch for the past 13 years, and working with many children, their families and siblings.
During my time at Rabbit Patch I have taught at both Saffron and Memorial Avenue within a range of age groups. I am team leader in Room two at Memorial Ave working with our toddlers which is fun, rewarding and brings joy and wonder every day.
I love teaching within a Reggio inspired preschool, with the focus on the process rather than the end product and working collaboratively as a community. My passions include Kapa Haka, drama, working in the Atelier and establishing strong relationships with each family.
I have a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning and have been responsible for mentoring colleagues and student teachers.
I look forward to the exciting possibilities that teaching at The Rabbit Patch will bring in the future, and the discoveries the children will find.
