We have designed our preschools to reflect our belief that physical space has the capacity
to promote dialogue and interpersonal exchange.

We have created beautiful intentional spaces that offer opportunities for relationships to develop and allows for visibility and communication between classes.

As you enter the preschool, the images, identities and voices of our community – child, parent and teacher – are ever present.  Through our documentation panels, daily reflections, Atelierista blogs, photographs and childrens art work, our collective voices speak to all who visit, work and play in our space.

The outdoors is a critical component of our environment.

We place a strong value on the role that the natural world plays in a child's development and growing sense of play within the larger world. Our outdoor spaces are large, natural and expansive, offering a myriad of opportunities and time to engage with nature.  There are opportunities to forage, care for the garden, investigate, invent, role play, build, climb, run and above all have fun.

We deliberately choose not to have artificial grass or plastic play equipment, instead, you will find lots of wood, plants, flowers, trees, grass, dirt, etc.

We understand the value and importance of children
having time to connect with nature.
