Kia ora Whānau!
Ko Kendall tōku ingoa, my name is Kendall. I completed a Bachelor of Teaching Endorsed in Early Childhood at Otago University before making the move to Christchurch close to two years ago where I joined the wonderful Rabbit Patch team!
Rabbit Patch’s unique values have a significant impact on my personal teaching philosophy. Our families and the community have a large contribution to the daily routines and special events we hold, providing opportunities for families to form strong connections with other families, teaching team and wider community.
My passion for Reggio Emilia is inspired when working with tamariki in our unique environment and outdoor spaces which have a strong focus on the environment as the third teacher.
I have a strong interest in spending as much time in our inspiring Atelier spaces working alongside our Atelierista (Resident Artist) on a range of short and long term projects capturing the essence of children’s critical thinking and working theories.
Every day provides excitement, joy and wonder with tamariki, families and the teaching team making Rabbit Patch an inspiring and unique place to be!
